Especially on those services I2P cannot provide itself (namely all of them except for the official i2P website, forum, bug tracker and source repository) I2P does provide a set of tools to use those services as a benefit for the user. The I2P team keeps on working to keep the provided tools in the router package secure and safe to use.

Basically, I saw the map of the IPv4 address space that on https://map.bgp.tools but I've never seen an IPv6 version. I think the BGP tools one actually works by pinging the IP addresses, which with IPv6, is obviously impossible (see the previous posts about the Windows XP computer that's still fine).

Self hosting became a hobby of mine sometime around 2018. I originally started off hosting simple tools like Pi-hole , random dashboards, and monitoring tools like Grafana on a Raspberry Pi 4. In May of 2021 I retrofitted an old desktop to host on instead as the Pi was too getting too slow, and 6 months later I got a proper rack and bought a refurbished HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 server to put in it.
