I do not see any indication that the script should be launched from a particular location. They are saved in the same location that the 0.5.5 java file was in but maybe something need to be done differently with the shell script.

Seems like they are always going down, or stop having router infos on them, or their SSL cert expires or doesn't match, etc etc etc. _sw_rhpsdy had a simple script and an eepsite to do this but I'm pretty sure both have vanished. If the page in question had any kind of expensive scripting it might mitigate some load but in reality a clunky lua script likely isn't going to safe the server if there is a sizeable amount of zombies attacking. My suggestion was mostly in regards to pesky crawlers, vulnerability scanners and all that no good noise that keeps hitting every http server out there.
