On 9 Dec 2022, I decided to try out Gitea. Gitea is an open-source Git repo hosting service, written in Go . I find it to be pretty similar to GitHub (in terms of the UI) but better. After installation and initial configuration, I tried to migrate my repo from the stock Git server to Gitea .
