(CNN) — There are few issues as contentious in international politics as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But for the better part of the past two decades, the establishment wings of both the Republican and Democratic Party have largely been pro-Israel. Both parties have, at least in their party platforms, maintained pro-Israel positions, including calls to recognize Jerusalem as the Jewish nation's capital. While the Republican Party has become more pro-Israel recently, it's unclear whether the Democratic Party will be able to maintain a pro-Israel tilt. Today, the Pew Research Center finds Democrats are less pro-Israel than they've been in decades. That drop has occurred in a period of just two years since 2016. This year, 27% of Democrats said their sympathies lied with the Israel over the Palestinians in their conflict, while 25% said the Palestinians. The rest said both or neither. Just two years ago (when the Democrats adopted more pro-Palestinian positions in their plank), 43% of Democrats said their sympathies aligned with Israel compared with 29% who said the Palestinians. It's not just that Democrats are split, it's how they're split. Establishment Democrats have been fighting off an insurgent progressive wing, and it's not any different on this issue. Liberal Democrats who pushed for the more pro-Palestinian language are far more likely to side with the Palestinians than the Israelis (by a 35% to 19% margin
A Hamas official on Wednesday acknowledged that 50 of the 62 Palestinians reported killed during Gaza border riots on Monday and Tuesday were members of the Islamist terrorist group, bringing the total number of known members of terror groups among the fatalities up to 53. “In the last rounds of confrontations, if 62 people were martyred, Fifty of the martyrs were Hamas and 12 from the people. How can Hamas reap the fruits if it pays such an expensive price?” said Hamas official Salah Bardawil in an interview with the Palestinian Baladna news outlet. Questioned about the figures by the presenter, Bardawil said they were “official.” “I am giving you an official figure. 50 of the martyrs in the recent battle were from Hamas,” he said. Hamas spokesman Fawzy Barhoum did not confirm all 50 were members of the Islamist movement. He told AFP Hamas paid for the funerals for all 50 “whether they are members or supporters of Hamas, or unrelated to the factions.” Bassem Naim, another senior Hamas official, declined to confirm or deny the number but said it was a “large movement and has great popular support.” It was “natural to see members or supporters of Hamas in large numbers” in such a protest, he said, adding that when they were killed they were “participating peacefully” in demonstrations. The Iran-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad had said on Tuesday that three members of its Saraya al-Quds military wing were killed by Israeli forces in Khan Younis.
On Monday, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyah was summoned to Cairo by Egyptian officials, who reportedly gave him a tongue-lashing over Hamas’ “riot policy.” As Israel HaYom reports, a senior Egyptian official reported that Haniyah was summoned to Egyptian intelligence service headquarters early Monday afternoon; General Intelligence Service head Maj. Gen. Abbas Kamal hotly criticized Haniyah for the violence caused by Hamas. Israel HaYom states, “The official said Egyptian officials were stunned by the high number of casualties and angered by information provided by Israel that proved Hamas was paying civilians, including children, to place ?themselves in harm's way by approaching the fence ?and clashing with IDF soldiers so as to allow Hamas ?operatives to blend into the crowd and try to ?carry out terrorist attacks.” Egyptian intelligence officers discovered that other terrorist groups in Gaza agreed with them about Hamas's provocations on the border and were concerned that the internal differences inside Gaza were pushing it to the brink of chaos. The official quoted by Israel HaYom stated: Ismail Haniyah and two bodyguards arrived in Cairo by helicopter within an hour of being summoned. But anyone who says Egyptian intelligence was honoring him by sending a helicopter to get him is wrong -- they were furious with him. Kamal ?then kept Haniyah waiting outside his office. It was humiliating. When Haniyeh was finally called in, you could h
WASHINGTON — Within hours of opening an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia in the summer of 2016, the F.B.I. dispatched a pair of agents to London on a mission so secretive that all but a handful of officials were kept in the dark. Their assignment, which has not been previously reported, was to meet the Australian ambassador, who had evidence that one of Donald J. Trump’s advisers knew in advance about Russian election meddling. After tense deliberations between Washington and Canberra, top Australian officials broke with diplomatic protocol and allowed the ambassador, Alexander Downer, to sit for an F.B.I. interview to describe his meeting with the campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos. The agents summarized their highly unusual interview and sent word to Washington on Aug. 2, 2016, two days after the investigation was opened. Their report helped provide the foundation for a case that, a year ago Thursday, became the special counsel investigation. But at the time, a small group of F.B.I. officials knew it by its code name: Crossfire Hurricane. The name, a reference to the Rolling Stones lyric “I was born in a crossfire hurricane,” was an apt prediction of a political storm that continues to tear shingles off the bureau. Days after they closed their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, agents began scrutinizing the campaign of her Republican rival. The two cases have become inextricably linked in one
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, The New York Times exposed a secret cabal of FBI agents who used flimsy information to investigate President Trump’s campaign in 2016, code-named Crossfire Hurricane. The Obama administration started their coup attempt against President Trump months before the election as a failsafe in case Trump won. The FBI would never conduct a secret investigation of a Democrat candidate, yet Loretta Lynch’s Department of Justice and James Comey’s FBI engaged in Soviet-style surveillance tactics of Trump and his campaign with no hard evidence. This is a scandal the likes of which this nation has never seen before, and it’s constantly being obstructed by Democrats and covered up by the media. Also, the official position of the Department of Justice is that you cannot indict a sitting president. Robert Mueller’s investigation has been about impeaching Trump since day one, serving the interests of the Democrat party while renegade Republicans protect Mueller. The Constitution is Trump’s best friend, and he needs to wrap himself in it to protect the office of the President. Finally, Mark speaks with Bret Baier about his new book, Three Days in Moscow: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of the Soviet Empire.
Protests Rage Worldwide In Response To Israel Killing Dozens Of Palestinians. As tensions rise in the Middle East, protests intensify around the world. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/mideast-violence-incites-worldwide-protests_us_5afc7d9ae4b0a8ec921b85da ************************************************* Israel/OPT: Use of excessive force in Gaza an abhorrent violation of international law “This is another horrific example of the Israeli military using excessive force and live ammunition in a totally deplorable way. This is a violation of international standards, in some instances committing what appear to be wilful killings constituting war crimes. “ https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2018/05/israelopt-use-of-excessive-force-in-gaza-an-abhorrent-violation-of-international-law/ ************************************************* Palestinians trying to flee their concentration camp are subject to the holocaust. The modus operandi of Israel is to steal and kill, until there is no one to claim the stolen property. Trump can look the other way as Israelis commit their horrendous crimes but he wont be able wash the blood from his hands. Kushner and Ivanka returned from the celebrations soaking, dripping blood. Is the Trump family participating in the final solution for the Palestinians?

The modus operandi, shoot the victims and then blame them. This kind of violence is encouraged in the Tanakh.
