My old method was to go trade for bitcoin on escrow sites and then go trade all my bitcoin for monero, but the only good site i found for that required traders to link a telegram account. It is still better than having to deal with a bank and technically possible to get a telegram account that isn't linked to you too obviously, but there is clearly better ways of doing this.
