The novelty of solving wore off after 2-3 days. My obsession had shifted to coding my own solver and then a completed grid generator such that I could make my own Sudoku puzzles. A common way to make a Sudoku puzzle is to first create the finished grid and remove digits until the puzzle has multiple solutions at which point you return that last removed digit to ensure there is only one solution.
