The result will be "Computer says no" types of situations, inequal outcomes for minorities , or worse. LLMs are not going to lead to the rise of Skynet , but I do think there's a very strong possibility that the current path is one that society will later come to regret. Especially with proponents handwaving away any concerns about privacy, copyright or ethics.
