The usual way to show that is JavaScript. It runs automatically and you would never notice it. Your client does not appear to run JavaScript — Tor Browser's Safest security level does this, and so do command-line tools. Nothing is broken and nothing has been blocked.

If you would rather not meet the challenge box at all, this site works best with JavaScript on (in Tor Browser that is the Standard security level — the only script we send is the one that answers this question).
This notice is not counted against you — but searching again without solving the challenge is. If you keep going, the next step is the picture challenge, and if that is passed over too, this client is temporarily blocked until the time above. Waiting, or solving the picture, both avoid that.
