I have gotten sufficiently good at the game that I can beat it at 3 levels over deity difficulty (highest vanilla difficulty) while also using the RHAI mod to enhance the AI’s decision making and gameplay significantly (the difficulty setting only changes the amount of free stuff the AI gets).
