The kicker is, and you may remember when I mentioned stability, is that being a couple GNOME versions behind means you are missing patches. When you're running software a few versions behind, you get bugs. This is actually why I am not considering Debian Stable as a base for this distribution. Their GNOME versions is relatively up to date, but their KDE version is riddled with holes.
