It may not be all that bad in the end as GPU drivers are a buggy mess and software rendering with a modern CPU is fast enough for most applications. Just don’t expect to be making the next AAA video game as a static Linux binary. Conclusion The PPLB should be self-contained, statically linked, and only use the functionality provided by the Linux kernel itself to communicate with system services.
