Alphabet , the owner of Google, already has a strangle hold over the internet. This should concern anyone with an interest in freedom and free speech. Hosting is cheap nowadays, self-hosting is a thing, and there are plenty of free file hosts that do not have this problem.

MuWire stalled? - discuss I2P

Currently, in MuWire the "Options/I2P/External Router I2CP Settings" are using the recent I2P router version 2.10. Feel free to add your node to the network. Thanks again for your suggestion. From time to time when I fire up MuWire 0.8.14-beta2 it shows around 50 nodes.

Libre=“at liberty, free; clear, free, vacant; free, without obligation” Well something can readily be free but have all sorts of spyware, bad headers, fingerprinting.

A decade ago - when I was still somewhat sympathetic to libertarian "free market" ideas - I thought it's weird how none of their proponents seem to see the problem with ads. I have always thought of ads as something that breaks the entire "free market" ideology, making inferior products survive because of reasons totally unrelated to their quality.

My goal Provide users with a privacy oriented, extremely lightweight, ad free, free as in freedom (and free beer!) way to search for documents around the internet, with minimal, optional javascript code. My long term goal would be to build my own index (that doesn't suck) and provide users with an unbiased search engine, with no political inclinations.
