it's just so weird that it's so hard to get a tech job, and then when you do get one, it's all busy-work. maybe companies have been replacing so much with ai that we don't need to work anymore. i think if that's the case, we should all get good at cybersecurity and kill all the ai slop code that these companies are writing. but you can do that first. i like my paycheck right now, even if it's for doing busy-work. some day i'm really gonna get a motorcycle!
It won't really disregard one/any of the points of obtaining the rank; it'd still be a nice marker on the top-right of the main page upon logging into an account, for good measure. - Don't plan on writing up a "userlist" page. Less things to write data to; it's better that way. - Enforce a user name character-limit. It should be simple enough writing some back-end handling of the limit. 10-12 characters hopefully should be enough for a name.. hopefully.
Delta compression using up to 4 threads Compressing objects: 100% (4/4), done. Writing objects: 100% (5/5), 432 bytes | 432.00 KiB/s, done. Then wait for a maintainer to confirm the content is complete, and then i'll accept the pull request and merge it into the main repository.
I still mainly host for fun and as a way to keep learning, but another strong driving force is just the ability to give privacy to people by allowing them use the things I host. I'd say my favorite music artists are Ivycomb and Get Scared (writing this is how I found out Get Scared is back together, I'm so excited). ^ Back to top ^ Made by Butter Cat Email | GPG | Matrix HTML Source | NGINX Config
Syndie also includes a built-in HTTP server (run with the httpserv command), which both serves up the content and accepts HTTP posts from others (if allowed), limiting the data accessible to those messages and channel metadata files published in the shared-index.dat file. The server accepts posts (uploaded through schedule and put ), writing them to a temporary directory under the syndie root, and running bulkimport on them after they've all been read. The HTTP post received is not a...
Those same big tech platforms also force nonhuman slop down our throats, while the ideal web is first and foremost human. Real humans writing and publishing. It is no surprise we ended up like this: as always we can blame it on technical barrier. It is simply easier to register on Facebook dot com and start posting AI shrimp Jesus than to -buy- get a domain, set up an always turned on PC on your home and spinning up your comfy static site just like I did. the fight never started.

I've made this website just as a personal page, as people have requested I get into writing. I have a peertube instance you can follow me at if you like hearing people mumble about computers. TILVids Page I'm managing this eepsite on a custom desktop computer running Artix S6, with a kde desktop.
Read more on why I will not use JavaScript here “No evidence should be needed that a certain freedom of writing and printing is one of the strongest bulwarks of a free organisation of the state, as without it, the estates would not have sufficient information for the drafting of good laws, and those dispensing justice would not be monitored, nor would the subjects know the requirements of the law, the limits of the rights of government, and their own responsibilities.
Then you need to create 3 tables called 'clients', 'files' and 'sources'. You also need to create several columns, but I don't start writing them all, since they have different values and explaining is not simple. Instead, I took screenshots of the tables and columns, so you can check yourself, what is needed.
It was far from the last piece of writing to come about in this way, and like all books, it should be read with a grain of salt, not unquestioning reverence.
On the one side, there is the urge to be part of a group, and having sex seems like a milestone, to not drop out of it, and in a sense it gives you the privilege to talk about it (and yes I feel somewhat guilty writing this without ever having sex). On the other hand I am myself just really interested what everyone is talking about.

Linux has seccomp can emulate pledge's syscall‑restriction part, but seccomp is low‑level, hard to write correctly by hand, brittle across libc/kernel/libc behavior changes and needs tools (like libseccomp) to avoid mistakes; writing policies for this is error‑prone. Seccomp was never actually usable, and It's very insecure: https://blog.habets.se/2022/03/seccomp-unsafe-at-any-speed.html Windows has no direct pledge analogue.
But "Prod" basically reduces the verbosity of your server. The next step is what I forgot before writing these blog entry. Run following two lines as root # a2dismod status # systemctl restart apache2.service The first command prevents an attacker to access your /server-status/ page which contains more or less sensitive info about your server and the second command restarts Apache2 with the new and safe config.
So I'll post in reverse chronological order, with the newest post first. 2025-05-21-20:57 Hello, here's my eepsite. I plan on writing long winded essays about various old man gripes. It's probably going to remain text only or at least text mostly. I miss those sorts of sites.
