Making a metasearch engine 1/14/2024 In 2020, tired of every search engine seemingly having suboptimal results and missing the instant answers I wanted, I decided to make a search engine for myself. I knew making a general- purpose web search engine from scratch by myself was infeasible, so instead I opted to make a meta- search engine, which aggregates results from other web search engines.

- Introduction Let's start with the basics. What is the point of a web browser? Originally, it was to be able to read HTML documents, but since then, the Web has changed massively, and modern browsers need to satisfy more demands.

My web pages contain no scripts. My sites use no analytics, nor do they set or read cookies. Neither do they use JSON web tokens, ETags, or web storage.
Anyways I'm babbling and no I'm not capable of doing this myself but you might be. I bring this up as I think distributed web is going to be more and more important in the future as the web becomes more controlled. If I2P was to have this capability I think it would get more users.
Account management is currently a work in progress and will be used to access many future features of this website. The account management backend that this web server uses is written by me and is currently closed source and will remain that way until I find a way to obfuscate it's connection to the web server the actually serves this site.
I do not touch the browser cache because my home is on the hdd, but in this case it makes sense to put the browser cache in tmpfs, speeding up the web browsers you use. I did some web searches and from what I can see media.peerconnection.ice.proxy_only_if_behind_proxy is just a more detailed variable name?? There's lot of neat stuff you've done idk.
This methodology (considered dangerous to some) is a centralization model under the blogger's control instead of a corporation and/or a group of 3rd party individuals. Of course, we are under a web hosting provider, as explained here . However, it can be moved at any time and at the administration's discretion. S-Config doesn't want Web 1.0 or the "old internet" back.
