I think the idea is that, by sharing, your own traffic is hidden to an outside observer by being part of a larger, more random flow. I was running Biostar X570GT8, which was their best board for this chipset at the time I bought it. There is a way to bypass this by forwarding an arbitrary name on my own domain to the name provided in the app. The method seems to work fine with some wallets but not others.

By the way, Incognet confirmed the vuln to me in one of their E-mails: It's strange though, because in my original test I did download a large random icon image pack, that had a bunch of random .png web icons for web-design. I extracted it, but after reinstalling the OS and running photorec, these items were not discovered.

The file name of EasyGPG’s Desktop file will be the contents of this file (one line of text) followed by .desktop . This file name contains 10 random alphanumeric characters so that the file name will be unique. This is so that, if the Desktop file is copied to the Desktop or put in the Applications menu, it can be reliably found.

Self hosting became a hobby of mine sometime around 2018. I originally started off hosting simple tools like Pi-hole , random dashboards, and monitoring tools like Grafana on a Raspberry Pi 4. In May of 2021 I retrofitted an old desktop to host on instead as the Pi was too getting too slow, and 6 months later I got a proper rack and bought a refurbished HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 server to put in it.
