All of this is to say, it was the perfect storm to get new users to switch from Microsoft's "Agentic" OS and onto one that respects its users' freedom. That's a bit of history. Now, onto what I plan on using this site for. I work a bit on accessibility technology for people with paralysis. Cerebral palsy, Quadriplegia are my focuses, and I want to make a Linux distribution for people that may benefit from a touch screen computer.

Gitea has all I need: Issues (with labels, projects, milestones and a time tracker), a graph of commits etc. One thing that seemed a bit strange (last time I checked) was Pull Requests . But when I work on the blog alone, I don't need pull requests to do git merge so actually I didn't even bother to see what's going on with it.
