To get started with GPG you will have to create a key in one of the applications provided and after that you can start encrypting messages using said key or maybe send the public part of your key to your friend(this process does seem simple in definition, but is still too hard for beginners, so you might need to use apps like Conversations or Thunderbird ). I wish to explain the process in more detail though time is too short to create it in just a single day.
