So we represent by and large a group of OS/2 users, but by no stretch of the imagination anything close to Linux as a community. That lack stands between us now as it did way back then in getting the respect from IBM that we felt we deserved. Until we get our act together we need to stop claiming community rights and privileges until we suck it up to do what is necessary to become one.

But that doesn't exempt you from registering each file individually with PaT (DifTracker had a tool to do that, so you could upload tons of files from the command line at home, but the filescharig community ignored DifTracker until it gave up, too bad ...). There are plenty of tools for your other needs too, for example Emacs Org-mode can export your project to many formats, including pleasing plain text for PaT.
