It is the same scenario as the before, only this time the pain is felt rather than feared. The absolutist negative attitude towards suicide has many real negative effects. Assisted suicide is illegal in most countries. Those willing to die while in the hospital have to voluntarily stop eating and drinking(VSED)(Yes this is a very real thing) and endure the suffering this entails instead of being given more humane ways to die.
