Governments and their corporate partners seek to monitor behavior,
regulate speech, and turn identity into a system of permission. We stand
against that model. Privacy and anonymity are rights, not privileges
granted by institutions. Encryption is legitimate self-defense, and open
source software, peer-to-peer networks, and decentralization are
practical means to weaken centralized control over information and social
