For example, if server A that you connect to is compromised, and logs containing your public key and activity are leaked, then the operator of server B, which you also connect to, can know you're the same user. Of course I don't log your public keys, or indeed anything else that your client tells my server, but what I really think you should do is give your client clear instructions on which servers to offer which public keys to.

The key here is to recognize which parts of the code are from the dependencies and which are our own. Mainly we should separate the database access from everything else and thus our custom logic should not do anything with the database. When you are writing APIs most of the time you are going to have some input in form of a request body, then you do some operations with it and finally you CRUD it into a database.
