we are biological machines but the point i would make is about the control aspect, if your brain is made by apple, i would expect it to have the same restrictions and limitations that an iphone has when trying to interface with certain data formats, their proprietary software runs by their rules, not yours or mine. anything outside those parameters is omitted and restricted. if none of that was applicable, and we were 'free' to develop our synthetic software brains, then i guess the...
