A busy tracker like duck’s generates more than 10000 hits a days – most of them being bloated HTTP requests containing status updates for the trackers database. A proper tracker needs quite a few ressources. ( not that ressources would be the showstopper for me) When i looked at the eepsite announce forum everybody seemed to operate a tracker.
