Couldn't you just sign a project you did with a GPG key and then supply a potential hirer with some file encrypted with the same GPG key to prove it's you or that you cracked the GPG system, then hope they don't report you to adversarial groups? I mean, that's kind of like linking a facebook account with your real name in the developer bio of a project site, but it's not easily publically accessible.
