Lessons learned and my computer destroyed, I bought mostly new parts sans the ram and ssd, got a case from my friend, an Antec Super Lanboy, and set about putting together a custom PC. At this point I was running windows 7 Ultimate, which I had legally acquired through the proper channels. Windows 7 ran well for a while but I quickly became disillusioned by Microsoft's Windows 8.

My opinion on Windows

For the most part, I'll focus on Windows 10, because it's the version of Windows most users use now. Windows 7 and older releases are already obsolete, and almost nobody cares about Windows 8.1, and it will be obsolete soon. My opinion Windows is the OS the majority of PC users use.
